We are bombarded with it in our daily lives, and from many fronts (such as surroundings, media, etc.). So it's to be expected that we will fall for at least some of these lies. We don't know the true extent of the lies that are ingrained in our minds.
Nobody is truly "awoken", because we all have at least some bullshit programming in our brains; some people a lot more than others, of course. Most people have so much programming that they even believe that it's a good idea to bring children into this world...
