Wow. I really can't remember the meaning of this word : "irony". Even when I look it up on Google. I just don't get it anymore.

So many people misused it, in inappropriate contexts, that now I forgot for good. I used to correct people who misused it but they'd persist in their ignorance.

Can someone please give me an example of irony, so I can remember?
