The SS After-Party?

Here's a wild-idea, so please just bear with.

It maybe a total fantasy, but what a nice fantasy it would be?

Imagine ctb'ing and finding yourself in an SS party room.

Your pain finally gone, your crippling social anxiety finally dissolved and you're ultimately with the best of friends from SS that you're meeting for the first time.

Finally, laughter, healing, friendship and hope.

The best of food, the best of music and the best of drink before you finally open the next door to whatever comes next?

I don't think we deserve less!

Part of this could happen realistically, based on what I have seen from near death experiences- ss members could be reunited in the next life, it seems possible to reunite with large numbers of people at once- family, friends, etc., where you are all spots of light and instantly connect through mental telepathy. The best of music is something you do hear a lot about in the afterlife. However, there is every indication that food and drink are not part of the afterlife. But the connection of feeling loved there is supposed to be stronger than anything here, according to many accounts. That's my view of this situation, but of course people's beliefs vary widely.

Not to be a downer. I just wish I would end up in a place with my family, my buddies, my gf, my dog. A place where I'm well again. And I have a tee time at a beautiful course the next day with a bunch of beers to drink after with all of the above I mention. And the finest weed.

Which just seems so simple to basically everyone I grew up with at my age. Everyone has that at their fingertips. Instead I have to hope there's an afterlife for it.

It's not fair what modern medicine can do to people. These doctors use these weapons and the most decent life I was supposed to live is now completely out of reach.

I wish I didn't bring a downer mind to this thread it's just how I feel. I want to be with the people who would cherish being with the real me again.

I do wonder about whether we are reunited with pets, this is something I hope for Since we don't have bodies in the next life beer and weed likely won't be there, in my opinion, but you'll feel better than they make you feel so it will be ok.

It didn't happenb to me but I have watched many nds videos on youtube- some are religious and some are not, so thgis is confusing as far as what it true or not- I tend to hope for the non religious ones that don't include hell to be true- so it's mainly based on these- there are many of these videos on youtube. Some seem fake, but most do not.

Not yet, but I expect to be be experiencing an ade pretty soon- an actual death experience- so hopefully it will be something like the better ndes.

Sorry, but if I have any awareness other than transitioning "into" a non-state then that is a form of hell to me.

It may be a comfort until you put in deep thought about what eternity is. Being under anything short of general anesthesia for eternity is horrifying.

If this after-party only lasts for a week then I'm cool with it. But then that implies peace is not achieved from death. Scary :)

I like to think that I will finally have the life that I was supposed to have, instead of this pale poor imitation one that I have to live through against my will.

But also- a buffet would be nice. And being reunited with my two bunnies and my grandparents would be the nicest thing I could think of

That sounds amazing. Maybe the afterlife is really whatever you want it to be. People often report that they think something and it happens instantly. Like if they look at a shoreline and then they're instantly transported.

It would be great to reconnect with a soul group in the afterlife. Apparently we're all part of a larger soul group and even if we've disconnected from them down here, we'll be reunited eventually.

I agree that buffets are the way to go- but it is pretty clear that there is no food in heaven- maybe because where there is food there is poop, and they don't want poop in heaven. :)

A lot of people here make similar posts- but it's pretty clear we don't get to choose whether we get an afterlife or not- based on many ndes it seems that when the body dies the soul keeps living.

I hope to reincarnate into a better life. I don't want to die, but my life circumstances are unbearable, maybe given another shot under different circumstances will make me enjoy life.
