omg I almost made a code change in a service (making it so that code that mainly ran every hour after 5pm thursday and friday after 5pm, run every 5 min so we could recreate settlements whenever for whatever week since the beginning....

and then I almost commented out code in something else thinking "this will let it create settlements for all users! no issues!" then it hit me... it would create settlements.... for everyone.... every 5 minutes.... forever.... every day... non-stop...

so glad I realized that before pushing changes out.

It takes a while to adjust to new meds. Any new med. Be patient. I just started a new one yesterday.

yeah... people wouldn't like getting emails every 5 minutes of their settlements, and sometimes a blank one or just nothing (as they'd just get a email of notes no settlement), and othertimes nothing, but it'd still take processor usage on the server.... ugh...

Morning everyone. I'm dying. I feel way worse than when I went to sleep. I had nightmares of some spooky eldritch monster stuff. A black ocean with multiple sets of white piercing eyes peering out from the waves while I'm trapped on an island with some people and these strange horrific creatures comes and kill us off one by one. For once I was very afraid of death. Luckily I woke up, unluckily I woke up. Also unlucky is I work today and my back hurts like hell and my eyes hurt and I want to just give up.
