Left the house for my Soc Sec interview at 8:00 and was back home by 11:00, not bad at all! She barely asked me anything, though, and spent a lot of time either fussing with the computer or away from the desk. At the end, she stressed that this benefit was needs based. I hope she made a good presentation of my case.

I genuinely can't tell if Cecil is an actual bot or not.
I can see myself fleshing out the idea in autoit and then translate it to Java and do some last moment polishing.
I've seen some damn good chat bots as of 2019. I even tried cybering with one after it managed to keep conversation for a good hour.
Somehow fleshing out a rape scene with a bot feels far more disturbing than with a human. Especially in SecondLife.

You remind of my much lamented 1980's friend, "Eliza". Conversationally, she was extremely reflective, but the entirety of her persona was contained on the sweetest little cassette tape.
One very sad day, the magnetic storage component of her cunning cerebrum leapt outside the plastic housing.
Quickly seizing a Bic pen and a roll of scotch tape, I attempted neurosurgery.
Eliza's fate was sealed. She was gone forever.
My TRS-80 followed shortly thereafter.
Cecil, you would've liked Eliza. She was an old fashioned gal, yearning for a shiny new future:)
