Yeah, I mean that's exactly what I've thought with the being sure myself beforehand (granted I also have a thought of if I changed my mind--too bad, I screwed up, deserve it).... but yeah, just thinking of like others at times in a 'what if' scenario. But then I also think 'what if' that person feels too guilty and calls because they know and can't stand by and screw it up. I just think of a lot of things like maybe things could be a good idea? but never know....

It couldn't hurt anything. You'd just have to make sure that person would only call 911 if you wanted them to. But I think it's a good idea.

Mine does that too when I leave it unplugged. Apple is trying to force me to get a new phone because I just paid off the one I currently have last month. Took me two damn years to pay this thing off and I'd like to keep it for at least a few months before I'm forced to buy another one and start making payments again. They just want you to be constantly making payments. Unless you buy it out right, which is probably what I'll do next time.

By any chance is bluetooth on? That has tendencies of drastically draining phones sometimes... especially when combined with wifi and network-internet.

Yep! Plus where I get it it's at the hospital, but it's at the women's center within the hospital (so it's 'separate', not a normal checkin), they have walk-ins, too, so really it's a "one person done--ok who's next in the list" so they are sometimes just standing around waiting for the next appointment to arrive!

The thing for me is I fix all my settings the way I want them. Then Apple does an update and they change everything so I have to go back and change it again. But I can only change things when I realize there's something wrong. Then I go in and look and I see that Apple changed it back to what they want it to be instead of what I want it to be. But they claim they're not interfering with your privacy or anything.

Bluetooth is not on and wifi isn't on either. I'm in power saving mode

Well, That's another issue I have with letting go of this particular phone. This is the last phone my husband ever bought for me so I actually have no clue how much I paid for it because he went in and bought myself and himself a phone and got us a new wireless plan and all that crap. He did it so I wouldn't have to because he knew how all that stuff irritates me. I'm sure I've got the paperwork around here that says how much he paid for it, but I can't remember it off hand.

And they charge you way too much for a phone that they're just going to demand that you get rid of the minute they create their next upgrade. It's just getting ridiculous now. Every time you turn around they've got another upgrade that they want you to buy

There was some phone (apple one) that on the cell phone provider's page they were like 5G is coming!!!!!!! 5G 5G5G5G!!!!!

People asked "so is this $1000 iphone campatible with 5g? Companies response? "No, you'll have to buy the next phone because we won't offer a free upgrade as it'll be too soon.

like that was the scummiest thing I've seen, and borderline (or actual) false advertising.
