I'm using a translator so sorry if my words cause missunderstanding
recently i found a horrible trend in Chinese tiktok that is more and more people are Making light of those who sh.similar to "Fruit Ninja Champion"in english, they called sh "改花刀"in comments which means a technique of using knife blade to cut pig's trotter because the shape is similar to the sh wounds. pig's trotter is also a metaphor used to humiliate people who gain weight beacause of taking antidepressants.
we can see the comments like"i I took an overdose of snacks" below the od video as well. they simply think overdose as a normal thing.that's the
craziest phenomenon i've ever seen on the internet.

This stuff is actually very normalized. I see these sorts of nonchalant attitudes and memes towards suicide and self harm commonly in the US

I rarely watch tiktok, so I don't know the current situation of short video platforms in any country. I can't believe how crazy teenagers are on the Internet these days (I'm not discriminating against teenagers). I think it's perfectly fine for people who are in the same situation as us to make fun of their lives, but the behavior of healthy people who stigmatize diseases turns me off

I don't have TikTok installed, never have, and avoid short-form media like the plague. It is terrible for the human mind, and a major source of brainrot.

Tiktok is very weird, there was a trend of Minions gore (they were real gore videos with audio but camouflaged with Minions AI).
