Hy here is a little story i wanna tell you, may recognize from a Game if you care enough to actually do most of them, i will put in the end of story the name... now sorry for the grammar English is not my primary language.
the story begins with a thunder god one which took the form of a bird, this creature once took refuge in distant and isolated island that would be call Tsurumi in the future, in this island live a village of few humans, when the humans saw that thunder bird has made his nest in the island they thought to appease the bird by creating ritual and sacrificing their own people, but the bird gave them no attention even their sacrifices meant nothing to a bird that only sought solace and peaceful existence...
Years pass like this each year the villagers would choose someone to be sacrifice believing that they were appeasing this god fury and so like every year the date of choosing was fast approaching... at the other side of island a little boy was close to mountain were bird live without him knowing he was being watch by the said bird the boy start singing with a "angelical" voice, the god of thunder in the mountain hearing such a voice and melody and in a manner unbecoming of such creature descend from his mountain to better listen to the little boy, in his presence the boy stop singing all together fearful for moment of what the bird would do to him, such a massive creature there right beside him looking and looming over such a tiny creature and yet the bird spook "child please don't be scare and continue your melody it quite please's one's ear", the child feeling praise for his melody and forgetting all about the fear he should feel in her presence continue to sing with her by his side.
As the days passed the bird and the little boy would meet and talk about their live, their pass times, their different perspective on the creatures and humans alike, they would become great friends and with the bird always please to hear the little boy melody being singed and the boy cheerful and hopeful demeanor wishing that those days would never come to pass... from this friendship the creature that was fear by everyone gained a name for herself and friend to last in those years she was living isolated, but all thing that are good come to pass and so the day which the villagers choose the their sacrifice came.
One day as one of the villagers was gathering wood for the night he heard a melody playing in the far corner of island, in a curious stride he search for that song and saw the boy and the bird chatting like old friends would, with this information and the dangers he felt of that his child would be choose, he in a moment of desire to protect his children and wife or even himself took this new information to the chief of the village... days pass and the faithful day of the ritual finally came and with the new information provide to the chief it was easy too see who would better appease the creature which all villagers fear and such the decision was made and the little boy who did not fear the creature would be the sacrifice.
That day when the offering was reveled to be the child which the bird like the most, his only friend, lay dead in the alter of the village as all the villagers bow down to the great bird, she watch those people those monsters, those humans and then... thunder crack and the skies turn red, the bird was furious and rightfully soo for his friend, that little child was killed and offer to her in a plate like it was food instead of a person, to think she would never hear him sing those melodies anymore, would never hear his voice, would never chat like they done so many times... that day the village and his denizens were killed, no one was spared, no one was alive at the end to tell the tale that transpire there and soo many years pass.
The god eventually pass away but her energy stay and so a curse was born from her will and memory, that day when the ritual was to happen would forever repeat in a loop, the child being offered in plate , the red skies and the destruction of that village and those people all of it, repeated every year, every day, forever and ever until a Traveler came to that island.
soo this isn't everything that happen there, the part where the traveler came is when the loop ends and happy ending is offered to both the child and the bird but if you want too see for yourself that story you should go play the game and hear it yourself
this is side quest is found in Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact and the story was quite beautiful to read thought, soo i want to share with some of it with you all, Thanks for reading and bye.
