Getting a bit hard to tell the difference now.
UK users: Due to a formal investigation into this site by Ofcom under the UK Online Safety Act 2023, we strongly recommend using a trusted, no-logs VPN. This will help protect your privacy, bypass censorship, and maintain secure access to the site. Read the full VPN guide here.
Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.
This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.
In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I have never been on r/suicide watch, I know that people often complain about reddit on here but I know nothing about it. Is suicide watch some pro life suicide prevention place or something. If so, then there has been pro lifers on here recently, some harmful ones. This forum used to be different, I used to find this forum comforting in a way, but in recent times it does not make me feel better at all. It is a shame that people have been insulting others on here but after all people can be cruel. That is just the way that some people are.
How is this place comparable to suicide watch?
r/Suicidewatch is trash if you're imminently suicidal.
Can you give an example?Getting a bit hard to tell the difference now.

Thanks for reminding us. I spend most of my time here on the suicide forum.SS has a recovery sub forum:
I just went to r/TimeToGo and there's been a post made less than a day ago. There seem to be new posts every few days to a week. Not the most active, but by no means dead.r/TimeToGo used to be my go to place. It was pretty much the only sub I knew of where you could vent about your suicidal thoughts and not be judged, and the users there were very supportive about whatever you were dealing with.
Then Reddit quarantined it and then posts started slowing down completely. I don't think it's had a thread in months.
I last checked it a couple of months ago and it was pretty dead. I think there would be a new thread once a month or every so.I just went to r/TimeToGo and there's been a post made less than a day ago. There seem to be new posts every few days to a week. Not the most active, but by no means dead.

Yeah I blacklisted that entire site because of the points mentioned by others.Suicidewatch is a place where people pretend to give a shit about you and offer you useless advice and platitudes in a futile effort to get you to cope. Next to no one there will respect your decision to CTB. Here, i have seen very few people try to change my mind on the matter.
To be fair, the methods that people mention on the subreddit are the highly publicized ones that have low success rate and often those people don't have proper preparation. We all know OD'ing on pills is a bad idea but people on r/suicidewatch pretend like it is so easy when the reality is you'll most likely live and suffer through pain. At least on SS there are resources to direct people to.They'll just tell you every method is the worst way to go.
Did I hear someone mention my name? Here, i have seen very few people try to change my mind on the matter.
Idk. Have you tried to change my mind on the matter? Lol!Did I hear someone mention my name?![]()
