  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

How much does it cost to die these days? Even a cremation plan costs at least over £1000 here and I don't want my family stuck with that, maybe just go missing then they won't have to pay the bills.

Tempted to take out an insurance policy and then a year and a half from now if I can wait that long I'll just get hit by a truck and hopefully classed as an accident.

A lot of people don't like their family but I love mine and the last thing they should have to do is pay for me committing notlive

You can set out whole plans and pay them off. That not the hard part anymore

Jump into the deep ocean and there won't be any body to deal with, so no costs for dealing with said body.

Just another way for someone else to take your money. Save up or pay off it's up to you. Just remember a problem requires a solution. We figure out the options and then do our best.

Dying is expensive because they CAN. That's why. They get you coming in AND going out. Here in the states one is allowed to donate their body to medical schools for training purposes and, I believe, that after they are "done" with you, they take care of the costs of "disposal" (I hate that word), probably in the form of cremation. I doubt they pay for a full burial, but I really don't know.

Edit: I failed to mention, and sorry for that, that this method of donating your body for medical training, if it were available to you in your country, that is best set up by YOU, in the form of a will BEFORE you die. I suppose your relatives could arrange for that, too, after you pass, but it may involve some kind of legal mumbo-jumbo they would have to go through in a court. Also, I suppose you could just leave a signed note stating your wishes of such, but, keep in mind, that something like that doesn't carry the weight of a will. It would be easier to make a case that because you ctb, that you were not in a "proper" state of mind to be making such a decision, and a court, if that wish of yours was contested by a relative, would hear their argument, and may nullify that wish or request you made in your note.
