we are literally born for no reason, no one asked to be here and we're all going to eventually die anyways. yet we have to study, work and make a living for the bare minimum. literally everything is meaningless. how the fuck did everything even start?

Fucked up also. Born without consent, get to like some shit, get to have your brain all fucked till you want to die, then nature fucking kills your ass again without consent. And people wonder why we go fucking looney tunes.

If you have a good job you will have money and be respected, and you get to turn around and tell everyone else they just didn't work hard enough and that money doesn't buy happiness, and even pretend you have more problems than they do.

But if you don't have that, you are the shit of this world and everyone is going to take shots at you, and nobody is going to give a second thought to your pain and suffering.

People say how great America is and how it's so much worse everywhere else. Maybe so, really makes me wonder how people in these so much worse places keep going, and why they keep reproducing.

people with money can have problems too and even be depressed or be suicidal. The thing about money is that having it doesn't make you happy but NOT having it makes you miserable...

THIS!

I do believe that the people who are living a simple life in the jungle without social media and so on might even be happier.

If you have money and are a ruthless narcissist you might even enjoy the fucked up life the most of us truly hate.

What drives me crazy is the fact that all of us keep aging, knowing that we will all die at some point in time but need to "keep going" until retirement. Then, health and looks are uncertain but we are told that we can then enjoy life...

Being born was the first mistake I made on this earth, and it wasn't even my own doing...

On a more serious note, life's pleasures are not even worthy of mention in comparison to the suffering there's in it. A fifteen minute walk through the nearby woods can help illustrate the meaninglessness of it all: a squirrel lies in the ground, being devoured by another animal - flies and maggots waiting their turn to feast on the carcass, a snail near a tree, infected by a parasite, it's body turning against itself, a fox mauling another small animal to death... All part of the process of life. And if there's not a forest nearby, just go to a McDonald's, or any restaurant, to see the same amount of carnage, or even more.

There isn't any meaning to it on the grand scheme of things - but to those that are being mauled, there is a deep meaning - a negative one - their suffering matters, and ours does too.

Life is a constant nightmare where in the end everyone gets thrown off into the meat grinder - even those who can experience a lot of pleasure out of life.

At it's best is an illusion, and at worst, a deception - and most people fall into that deception: thinking that if they can achieve X or do Y, they'll eventually prosper and find meaning. Life does not care for our little meanings or illusions, our desires do not matter to it, the meat grinder awaits us all.

I see existence itself as just being a horrific mistake, it's just a replusive cycle of senseless cruelty and pointless suffering which tragically continues to repeat, it disgusts me how existing beings get tortured so unnecessarily as a result of this curse. Only nothingness is what I see as being acceptable, there should just be nothing instead as I don't believe that existing beings deserve to suffer and be punished by having the ability to suffer endlessly.

Your words are so beautiful.

For those who have no feelings but lots of money, life seems to be not so bad. Especially when young, healthy and with good family/friends. But apparently most of us dont belong to this group...
