The weird ''outdoors therapy club'' thing i joined where you kinda just go take walks with people (and they don't give you transport or any help whatsoever if you need it, so fuck you if you don't own a car and are too poor for the constant bus fares) just pulled such an absolute lame ass boomer move. They're... holding a slam/poetry night where they expect us to write/perform that to the theme of what roughly translate to ''Talking about our issues to mend our wounds, spread the word'' (the original french wording is cringy trash), and they're... trying to get us to make tiktoks singing slam as an attempt for the group to ''go viral''. For those who don't know, slam is basically just rap, but like, even more shit. They're pulling the pro 90's move of having rap songs about talking about mental health. It's just missing the singing anthro mascot that keeps making gangsta signs and saying YO YO MAN YOOO BRO every 3 seconds.

Putting feelings into a lamer rap yeah fair enough, but they don't want you to put your feeling into words, they specifically want it to be about how ''spreading awareness and talking about feelings'' fixes everything. They don't want a heart breaking poem about a man's fight with depression they want ''Yo man bro talking makes me feel better yo, yo gotta talk to ya bros yo, yeah yeah talking about your feeling aint gay my ni*** it'll make yo feel betta''.

There is no escape from lame out of date trend. It thankfully never really caught on exept with boomers and that one weird kid in highschool that's like, both advocating against drugs and violence, but he's also constantly yelling at people and doing a shit ton of drugs, who'd probably be seen wearing a dirty hoodie with a tie for some reason.
