Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I like how you prepare to desensitize yourself by practicing and I think that is the best you can do to prepare your mind and body for the attempt. I think part of the reason for fearing death may tie into the fear of non-existence and just not having any conscious (part of the survival instinct). Also in regards to the fear that you mentioned, it is the survival instinct part of your brain subconsciously trying to deter you from following through. However, I believe with enough willpower, desensitization (through practice and mental drills of the attempt like you mentioned), it is possible to override that stupid SI and go through with it.

Thank you buddy. I first thought about the bridge 3 years ago. It does take a lot of mental strength to get over the fear of jumping. For me, I am not afraid of being dead. I am afraid of the seconds long drop. My fears are primitive in nature. What is worse - A couple seconds of being terrified or living another year on this earth? Obviously the first option is more preferable. I try so hard not to let my survival instincts play tricks on me. When I do feel afraid of the jump I always have to remind myself that it's only the primitive parts of my brain wanting to survive and not me.
