I wanted to give some advice on telling someone before you CTB. I ofc like most of us here had to talk to someone; however, DO NOT tell anyone you actually know or love.
I have just recently told my fiance about how I feel and that I desire to CTB. It was awful. I would have avoided it if I could have, but she pushed me into a conversation. Now I don't know what to do. She is just acting like I didn't tell her what I told her, she may be acting slightly nicer, but tbh it is hard to tell. I now have to live in fear that she may call 988 or 911 and have me put in an instituition. I did not tell her how because I don't want her to freak out when I go to leave.
I do believe in leaving a note or video or hell a link to your SS account.
My advice: Don't leave people wondering, but don't kill them with worry and anticipation.
