I'm really worried I might tear off the bag while using the nitrogen gas method. Is this a valid concern? What are ways to prevent the bag from being torn off while unconscious?

Best way to do the gas method is to lay down, that way when you pass out there is zero risk of you tearing the bag or it falling off of your head

There was a person here, @Trashcan. I remember for sure he tried this method and failed only because he always woke up finding himself lying on floor with bag off his head (seems like he continuously teared it off while being unconscious). As far as I remember, there is no exact solution to prevent this. Somebody suggested to use cuffs, but this would add more stress and panic. Please, correct me if I am wrong. I am gonna use inert gas method in future, so this problem is important for me as well. I did not come to exact conclusion, but I am thinking of using the long rope or something like that just to make my hands bandaged (no knots or smth, just wrap it around as much as possible and make it tight). In case something goes wrong, I can just easily get rid of the rope.

There's a way to tie one's own hands with a knot they slip over their wrists.

There are mittens usually used for ABDL play, they encase your hands in thick padding, making it impossible to use your fingers.

@Rose57, once the bag is pulled down the bag will start to fill with CO2 as a consequence of your breathing. The steady flow of an inert gas from the top of the bag pushes the CO2 out the bottom of the bag.

Without the flow of inert gas the level of CO2 will build up. The build-up will eventually trigger a reaction called the Hypercapnic (high carbon dioxide) Alarm Response. This alarm will cause you to pull the bag from your head.

It is important the neck of the bag is loose around your neck. If the neck is not loose the process of pushing the CO2 out of the bag will be impeded.

Chapter 5 of the PPH March 2019 covers this method in detail.

This is a great idea. How do you put the mittens on by yourself though? Do you just not secure it with the strap after putting them on?

Handcuff one hand ( & I think there's a way to cuff the other afterwards: consult Youtube.com).-_-
