Discussion tattooing myself as covert self harm

Ive been tattooing myself for the past 2 years , i find it as a socially acceptable form of self harm for me . i wouldnt let a tatto artits tattoo me because it wouldnt be the same . i like doing it to myself because i can feel the pain and also it doesnt set any alarms for any one around me theyll just see it as a form of art , i kind of do some times .but during the act of tattooing myself thats what is going through my mind . i dont know if anyone else has the same experience or if this is the right place to post this .

I started doing this last year with stick n poke. Eventually I just got a cheap machine on Amazon and did my thigh.

I started doing this a few years ago, but the most recent one was getting tattoos on my face and hands

that's actually really interesting... as well as it is kinda safe I think
(if I was to 'tattoo' I'd instead use permanent marker that lasts a few days or weeks, since I tend to instead avoid pain)
