Lithium o overdose is similar to stroke. You might end up paralyzed for life. It can kill you but failure will be disastrous.
I wouldn't have lithium for mood either, it's just too unpredictable. And definitely don't try killing yourself with it. There are huge chances of surviving while developing a permanent mental disorder.
