I think the current price of vad at Swiss orgs are unreasonably high. Practically they exclude more people with these high prices than their health related requirements.
Do you expect these orgs to lower the prices if they could demedicalize the process? I mean Sarco.

I think part of the cost is justified. It seems the do have people consulting for them, facilities whose rent you need to pay. Not sure about the cost of the actual meds. Then the cost for cremation and paperwork. I assume they have some permanent people working for them. Finally, I guess there is also some profit involved or maybe it is a non-profit, not sure.

Compared to the cost of other medical procedures, I think it's understandable. What's great I'd Pegasos say they are in the future hoping to give discounts to people who can't afford it, but they've said that on their website for a couple of years with no change, sigh. On the plus side, it's not like we need money where we're going

I think the prices are right. Pegasos also includes funeral costs if I remember correctly.

The price of the meds is about 50 eur.
