According to a live stream of a SN suicide appr. 20 minutes. But I think it also depends on how fast the SN is absorbed and if you have to vomit.

To me SN does not sound as horrible as some other methods like hanging and drowning and I would personally choose it over them. However I do believe that suicide should always be peaceful and people should not have to spend their last moments in pain. We have already suffered so much in life so we should not have to suffer in the dying process. It is cruel how the society denies people the option of a peaceful exit.

I like the explosion idea, it's ought to work 100% if you do it well. Wrap explosives on your head. Very good! It's probably fairly hard to get the materials and know-how, however.

This and decapitation are methods that are potentially painless but need months of work.

If you take all the recommended medicines its pretty peacefull i think, but we will see.

Right. I'm not sure where they found this info from but it's kinda contradicting the documented cases on here including the few that have survived and came back to tell us how it was.

Yeah. This is very true. Haven't been here long personally but have researched/studied read enough post and spoke to people that were saved to know these people are smoking shards.
Although op really isn't that off woth what they say. I have read people say shortness of breath or was harder to.breathe and have maybe read about THREE or four reports out of HUNDREDS that have mentioned "unbearable pain"

I understand about being worried but compared to a lot of other methods SN isn't that bad.. a lot of us can't afford or don't have access to other painless methods. I don't really understand these post I don't know if people want confirmation that it isn't going to her or if they're trying to scare people away from doing it or what. Maybe they are looking for other opinions. Idk my mind is all over the place. It's the method that I am using I really don't have any other option besides hanging I would rather hang but I don't have a good spot to do it

"Difficulty breathing" is a wide field.

It can range from "I'm out of breath from running to catch the bus" to feeling like you're drowning.

I wouldnt put too much into this.

Uncomfortable? Yes!
Painful? Possibly a little.
Still very effective, affordable and reliable.

I drank Engine Coolant when I was 17. (I'm much older now), if I could deal with that nausea and pain (anti-freeze is an awful way to go)...I think SN is going to be ok with me.

i will not buy all these new threads that say SN is painful or ineffective .
Here is a huge list of these SN survivors from a span of just a few months late 2019-early 2020 SN survivors no permanent damage, and all said SN was painless.

This is from the exit international they observed 25 SN deaths all of them peaceful only 1 supposedely not peaceful but she was 89 years old and so young people are much stronger than an 89 year old who could have had many other issues . FYI all 25/25 died so SN is effective :
