I got police knocking on my door today because I bought SN from IC in march.
At first they wanted to drive me to the psych ward but I showed them that I was there a month ago and after a some convincing that the stay really helped me they were okay with me not going.
They wanted the SN. I told them I had it in my room but wasnt going to give it to them. They contacted their superior to get a warrant but didnt succeed so I still have it.
They were really friendly but the worst thing about this is that I live with my family and police told them. I'm scared to leave my room now, they'll never understand :/
The introductory "hi we got a tip from interpol" was fucking scary and made me feel like a war criminal but living with the shame that my family knows is the worst part, how the fuck can I look them in the eyes after this shit. idk just had to get that out and ig im wondering if others have experience with their family finding out? how do you do deal with that?!?

I would try to lay out everything as honestly as possible, better late than never.
Whatever led you to this point will lead you further, it may be hard to see right now, but trust that there are no accidents in life.
Honest communication clears the air most effectively, hiding only leads to more misery.
May it all resolve itself in the smoothest way possible for all parties involved, best wishes, dear. 🙏✨

There is nothing to be ashamed of. Your family should be ashamed if they don't understand or show some concerns and love to you after being revealed you're that depressed. Don't be ashamed. Just store the SN in another place. If the cops come back, just let them in, talk to them, say you're doing better and that you threw it away.

I had that visit yesterday it terrified me at the first time but theyre is nothing to be ashamed of, I am very fragile and suicidal not a freaking criminal

i can't cope with this for now, but knowing I'm not the only one to be visited actually makes me feel better

I'm here to talk if you need

If you get another visit, it will be too late because you threw the SN away in a park. Didn't you? What a shame.

Dude... The interpol thing also really scared me. My parents are seeking Political protection from mad Vlad, Russian authorities sometimes abuse interpol to harass "dissidents". When I heard interpol it really frightened me and threw me off guard more than this nornally would've.

I apprciate the kind words, I felt such an intense shame but your replies helped ease the anxiety a bit.
Maybe youre right, and we don't need to be ashamed of considering suicide. Again, thank you both :)
