İ read that somewhere but i cant find the plant's name

(The world health organization has allocated an annual budget of $ 110 million to destroy a grass growing on the island of Sri Lanka.

In the youngsters chewing this grass, fear of death disappeared and the young people easily committed suicide.

Since such a plant is very risky in the world, such a precaution has been taken.)

do you know any plant or drug which deactivate survival instict like that

Drugs reducing inhibitions still won't prevent the biological reaction of spasms, and other such phenomena when in the process of dying. However, things like alcohol could make you more likely to commit the act, with the downside of reduced cognitive abilities, reducing the likelihood of succeeding. If you are asking because you have anxiety from committing the act, know that if you have any doubt, it may not be the time. Otherwise, good luck.

From the OP:

You can edit a post, yet you cannot understand that OP wouldn't have asked this question if they had the original reference.

"..annual budget of 110 million.." is specific information.. only natural to assume that the OP Might have a link.

Second, the OP hasn't asked a question.

Why don't you help the OP with an answer instead of complaining about my reply.

You are clearly holding a grudge against me. Not sure why

It seems the OP did quote the source/an article, but perhaps the source didn't specify the original drug/plant. It's written like a news source, "In the youngsters", sounds like a journalist imo. Not to mention, it's in parentheses. I'd be curious as well. It's a safe presumption taking into account the specifics, such as dollar amounts, location, and so forth. However, this is speculation until the op replies. He may have saved the bracket-ed text, but not have the link, etc.

Besides from the derailing that occurred, the actual plant would be hard without spending hours looking at the plant encyclopedia of the region. Opiods, alcohol, etc will have the same or similar effects, I'd imagine. You can use the search function and type; alcohol + survival instinct, or opiod(s) + survival instinct. You can also try specific meds or drugs. Good luck.

WHO would have published their data regarding these plants, as practically anything they do is able to be requested through public information. Sri Lanka for decades had problems with pesticides that lead to thousands of fatal deaths. If such plant existed and such money was being backed into removing it, it would have been indexed through Google! Who would have thought?

English is not OP's first language for starters. Secondly the "quote" was a paraphrasing and not an actual direct quote. I hate to target you both, but would you perhaps practice some critical thinking? If OP had a source, his post wouldn't have opened with "İ read that somewhere [...]".

And I noted that possibility. I mentioned that he may not have the source and he may have just saved it, or any number of possibilities. He used the parentheses to separate the text, using it to refer to what he read, which was my primary point. Anyways, we seem to agree vaguely that he may not have the source, so I'll leave it at that.

Don't worry I thought SS is meant to be a non judgemental site where people can air their views and make mistakes, Jesus I'm from the UK and looking at the screen and reading hundreds of messages I certainly make mistakes.

Here is a link to an article, the Japanese Kamikaze pilots took before their suicide missions, but not sure if this will help you, may want to kill other people like the Japanese Pilots or get hooked on it yourself.

So be careful before you consider taking anything..

I wonder if the grass was skunk, I smoked that once and I cant remember having a survival instinct, tbh I can't remember anything :haha:

Cheers Geo

There is none! Survival Instinct can only be eliminate by your negative feelings alone!
