I mean if your mom's Muslim, then you wouldn't have to worry about an autopsy right? In the US, the family can request to forgo it in most circumstances. That is if the police can identify you. I dont know if Canadas the same...

No autopsy = more options

Yes that's true I highly doubt she would want an autopsy done. It does go against typical burial processes in Islam. She definitely wouldn't if it really appeared to be an accident. Ugh it's so stressful I just want to go so badly.

On this topic, a few months ago I was looking at research on how many people who are actually murdered have it disguised as suicide by the killer (a lot, apparently). But the coroner always figures it out even if the cops initially write it off as a suicide. Anyway, there was this one guy who a forensic expert noted did the most involved suicide disguised as murder I have ever heard of: he attached a gun to a weather balloon and shot himself, so when they found the body it was just dead in a field. However, they knew something was fishy here (forensics that they didn't explain in the article), and it took 3 months to figure out what he had really done. Point being, it is VERY difficult to make a suicide appear as anything but to forensics, and VERY difficult to make a murder appear as a suicide (forensically).

I don't think I would seek out murder anyway because I think it would be just as devestating to her. I really think if it appeared totally accidental then she'd just think it was gods plan or something. And be able to move on

Dry ice can be a very serious hazard in a small space that isn't well-ventilated. As dry ice melts, it turns into carbon dioxide gas. And there's good reason to have it on Halloween. I want to try it!
As a back up while I call asleep...

I think co or nitrogen methods don't show up on toxicology reports. It's just how do you get rid of the equipment and any other evidence.

Yeah, no, don't advise "murder" to cover a suicide for anyone. I know someone who was murdered and that is just terrible for everyone around. And the police would naturally be looking for a suspect. I do not think people would easily be able to fake a murder nowadays, but if they did for a time being (till forensics got it right), everyone around them becomes a suspect and is dragged through that terrible ordeal. And some poor fellow you had an argument with at a grocery store the day before could be brought into it.

I know many people try to conceive of this (a few famous ones from way back tried this route, I think). But it is just not a good idea.

Helium *can* show up, but only if the coroner does an elaborate method to check. They might be able to apply the same method to these other gasses as well. But I have no idea.

Thank you! I will look into this

Sorry to keep replying to this thread!

Hang-gliding accident:

Don't do this! At least, I am strongly advising you against it. I have serious injuries (from something else), and some of the people online I have been looking at for pain control issues (who are people with serious injuries) have gotten them from hang-gliding accidents. Broken collarbones, shoulders, backs, you name it. I also "know" (meaning people online) people which such injuries from falling off cliffs. These particular people who fell off cliffs also have internal organ damage.

This is far too risky, and from experience, a body covered with serious injuries is worse than death itself and is sure to make you want to die, but you are very crippled now and very limited in your options, and your life will be beyond miserable, from my experience.

If she wouldn't have an autopsy done, couldn't you just take N and pass in your sleep??

I'm not joking...I've thought of this!!

There's evidence in the forensic literature.A while back, I uploaded a link to a report of a guy in Japan who used 50kg in a car. With sedatives, definitely doable.

No apology needed! I appreciate just your input I am desperate. And thank you for the warning. I am taking it seriously. I gave up on this one anyway because of how much time is involved but I definitely won't be jumping or using trains. Im just so afraid of surviving. Shallow water blackout seems like the best way to go but i can't seem to find a single person on this forum for whom it has actually worked. :(

I just feel like an otherwise healthy young person dying in their sleep would be very suspicious. Maybe I could take it and drown?
