Suicide shop

There is that French novel (probably mostly known as a cartoon film) about a shop that sells stuff for committing suicide: ropes, blades, poisons and etc. And so it made me curious, are there any shops like this in real life? It isn't technically illegal to sell this kind of stuff all in one place, right?

I hightly doubt something like this exists as it is probably illegal in 99% of all places, especially if you label it as "things you can kill yourself with". That just screams "murder".

If there was such a shop it would be of curiosities and antique ways of killing yourself. I don't think they could have sn next to ropes and exit bags. It couldn't be something current I don't reckon. Like a sort of dark twist on a joke shop

Yea, you will probably get a lawsuit, that's for sure. But is there an actual reason a shop like this can be closed? Like, you just sell things, nothing else. It also doesn't have to be called smth like "Buy things to kill yourself here".
Maybe it can actually be an internet shop, not a physical one. What do you think?
Not that I'd want to create one myself but it would be just so much easier if you could buy all these things in one place.

Hmm, that is a point. I guess the police etc. will look at the intentions though. Why would a shop sell pure SN if it is a currently famous ctb method? True, you can't prove it. I don't know, I have very little knowledge on law and how to keep a shop. It might work but my personal intuition is "it won't work".

I was thinking about this and I think it's called the DIY or hardware store. They usually sell ropes, rat poisons, nail guns, drills, all kinds of blades and saws, axes, plenty of dangerous chemicals. I know it's not intended for Ctb but it does sell a lot of the ingredients

I like to imagine that somewhere in the world there is somebody just shooting holes in their ceiling and squealing with joy every time there is a "bang" lol.
Maybe we can stop using guns for killing and instead try to fire them into the air in sequence to make music like a drum beat xD a cannon for the base drum and a pistol for a snare lol
We could make some good thrash metal with a machine gun xD
Wars would be much better too, whoever makes the best tune wins the war xD

Oh!! I would do that!! Except not my ceiling. I shoot at a small, private outdoor range, weather permitting. It's all about the feel of the gun in my hands, the weight, the balance, the cold smooth steel of the barrel, the click of the magazine being snapped into place. The perfect grip for control, the effort of finding the right stance, lining up the sights, the gentle placement of finger on the trigger, squeeze, knowing it will jump and anticipating that BANG! And doing it and making all those holes, one on top of the other (hopefully). It's like riding a roller coaster, that long slow climb up to the fast steep drop off, knowing it is coming, knowing how it will feel. Oh lord. Guns...my drug of choice.

No, I do not conceal carry, never want to kill animals (maybe if I were starving?) Or people. It isn't about that at all.
