Have you guys ever watched on TV where someone just drink sleeping pills to ctb

Before i learn about it, i thought id be that easy?
and then when i read that its very hard to die from antidepressant overdose. I was shook n after that everytime i watch someone ctb on tv using that, i just roll my eyes

Theres still some real cases where people die from alcohol+antidepressant but i guess its uncommon..?

still.. if only its not that hard

Aside from pills is wrist cutting i thought its reliable&'easy' too

and then charcoal(i thought its just burning any charcoal, thats it, like on tv)

guess what always as it was is hanging

ive tried and bought some material needed for those methods and other methods but then i didnt manage to finish it until it succeed

Everything on tv and in movies is very unrealistic, you can indeed die from a sleeping pills overdose people have done it many times but it is not as "easy" as it is in those movies on tv. The attempts where someone takes some random pills together with alcohol are the ones that often fails irl. But on tv they are very successful when they take random drugs together with alcohol. Cutting your wrist is another good example, on tv people just sit in a bathtub and cut their wrist until they pass out and die but irl there are a million things that can go wrong. I remember reading somewhere that only about 1% of people that attempt to cut their wrists irl are successful.

When you hear of many people dying from ctb it does make it sound a lot easier than it actually is. I never knew how difficult ctb is until I started researching it properly. I think that it's so cruel how we are denied peaceful ways to exit and it's unfair how it's this hard to leave this life behind. No one should ever have to attempt a risky method. We have all already suffered enough in life so we shouldn't have to suffer in trying to find ways to leave.

There are specific meds that can kill you when mixed with booze. Barbiturates and benzos and opioids, I think. But I believe the quantity is high that you need to take.

I'm going with multiple methods at once, if I can. I don't trust any one method to be 100 percent effective, but alcohol with opioids and benzos will be one part of it, if not the main part.

Yeah I watched the Virgin Suicides and it depicts a scene where one of the characters manages to quite quickly CTB from starting her parents car in their enclosed garage but turns out newer cars don't emit that much CO due to catilyc converters although it still is possible

But wouldnt it need several thousand times the maximum prescribed dose/pills to fatally overdose which is like almost impossible........

If u are talking about sleeping pill overdose then tbh, i don't know. All i know is that many celebrities has died by a sleeping pill overdose, Marilyn Monroe for example and Elvis Presley but I think Elvis took many under a long period of time and died by a heart attack or something i don't know but feel free to correct me if im wrong. I did read somewhere on google that 90 sleeping pills can be fatal but idk what kind of sleeping pills they are talking about tho. Seems like people ctb more often with sleeping pills that contains Barbiturates.

There's a difference between the risk of dying when one doesn't want to die, on the one hand - and the chance of dying when one does want to die, on the other.

For example, there's a risk that you could die by sitting on a kitchen table and then throwing yourself backwards in order to fall down and break your neck, but you probably, which would be a huge risk for someone who doesn't want to die, but you probably wouldn't use this as a suicide method.

Marilyn use N which already banned now to prevent people to ctb/mistakenly ctb
