I remember reading the blog of a guy (real, not fiction) who was paralyzed after an accident and he wrote down his struggles and ultimately kills himself at the end.
I can't find it anymore. Anyone knows what I'm talking about?
Denying a peaceful death to a paralyzed man who wants is miserable imo. I've been saying for many years I'd like to get euthanized if I ever go quadriplegic. The fact someone can't even more to do it himself, explicitly said he prefers dying, and it's held against his will with absolutely no defenses because can't move, makes it specially egregious.

Wow. I hadn't seen this. Now that I know it exists and googled it, I'm seeing lots of really good DISCUSSIONS (re. MAID and disability) that hadn't shown up for me before. There's even a book review with some sophisticated talking points and argumentation. Thanks for this.
