• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hii guys :3 Do you know of any sources to draw from regarding the history of suicide? Or also about how different cultures or religions perceived suicide? Maybe it won't be that interesting but I believe there must be some cultures, which had different view on suicide other than that main narrative "suicide=bad"
Any help will be appreciated ❤️🌹

Wikipedia actually has a decent section on that. Off the top of my head, Japan has probably the least anti-suicide culture. Suicide=bad is mainly super strong in certain cultures because of the influence of Christanity or Islam so looking at, the admittedley few, which aren't strongly influnced by either of those religions would probably be your best bet.

Sweden (as well as other countries like Ireland) today has a very interesting take on chosen death. They only allow those with incurable illnesses CTB.
