Suicide by jumping into the void and duct tape

What do you think about me jumping into the void with duct tape over my mouth and nose? Will it work? That way I can be sure that if I lose consciousness and survive, I'll drown.

I mean jumping off a cliff with duct tape over my nose and mouth, just in case I survive the jump and then die from lack of air. It's not that hard, for God's sake... Enough with the laughter.
