Too p*ssy to end it, too suicidal to leave

I just read a bit about Freddie Mercury who died of this, he looks very thin and spooky in his final days. He called the disease "terrible". "Near the end of his life, Mercury began to lose his sight, and declined so that he was unable to leave his bed.Mercury chose to hasten his death by refusing medication and took only painkillers." (Wikipedia)
I think he also struggled with some existential pain, as many of us here do. "Sometimes I wish I've never been born at all!" or "It's the terror of knowing what this world is about.. watching some good friends screaming Let me out!"
So I don't know... I've been thinking about suicide by STDs as well, as it's a more indirect way die, without directly having to fight the SI. But it's probably not a good idea. A natural death by old age seems easier, although if I think about it it's kinda like a prolonged AIDS. Hell, I don't know.

I've read that AIDS isn't actually that painful of a disease. Thoughts?

AIDS isn't painful but it also doesn't kill you. AIDS attacks your immune system leaving you vulnerable to dying from diseases not normally fatal to other people. Many sufferers are sick for a long time until they have finally been weakened to the point of death. I don't personally know anyone who died from an AIDS related condition but I'm pretty certain no one would recommend it.

It could be lengthy and yes it's going to be uncomfortable. You're going to be dealing with skin diseases, thrush, headaches, body aches, no appetite so u better live where weed is legal lol! You're goin to be tired and weak, it even effects cognitive function. Sounds like a horrific way to go. But I bet u would get a lot of support like the cancer people. They might force u to take your Medicaid issued meds because they can't stand u purposely deciding to let the aids take over. Let's say u go homeless with aids and no meds. Then when people see u dying in the streets u will keep getting hospitalized and treated. Then u get sent back out and have to decline again. Sounds horrible lol! You are probably not going to be holding a job for long as the HIV progresses. Of course this depends on how strong your immune system is. Different people react differently to HIV and AIDS.

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters...to me". Bohemian Rhapsody is a great tune.

I cant believe what Im reading. I have severe immune dysfunction and its hell living from infections to infections. Last 10 years I must have taken over 100 antibiotics. Person with herpes pass you by ,you get it, someone cough your way, you end up in bed for a month. Every disease that normally your immune system can fight of in a week or two, last months and is reccurent. I must live in a vaccum. You get autoimmune diseases, and possibly cancer. You have so many things at the same time, so many tissues affected .....To say Aids (or any chronic disease that greatly impacts your bodys natural immune system) is "uncomfortable" is massive understatement.

Yea this is kind of what I was thinking. You have no idea how bad that shit actually is. Then let's say u get it and it's really bad u decide u need the meds bc it's so bad, well now ure on meds for the rest of your life and what if at some point u can't get no more gov assistance or u simply cannot afford the meds bc u are slightly too poor to buy health insurance yet don't qualify for state healthcare. Yikes!

AIDS doesnt kill you, it makes you extremely vulnerable to other diseases since you no longer have an immune system. A lot of diseases are pretty painful so I wouldnt risk getting it
