  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

I can relate.
Also, the odds of breaking a heart are quite big too if that person really falls in love with you and doesn't know you're suicidal.

Eh, maybe if you live somewhere where women don't have ten other guys lined up it could work. Then there would be no "coming out of" the relationship. I'll personally stop looking for a relationship, I've tried enough times and the door is firmly shut. It's time for solitude and avoidance.

True, but for me it's more my apathy. The girl might get interested and the entire time I'd have this nagging feeling of "oh well, everything is temporary, especially this relationship, so why even bother?"

yes i regret getting into my previous relationship. We broke up and still remain good friends, and still sleep together and hang out. I always think of how my CTB will affect her. I should've never dated anyone and should've CTB'd 10 years ago.

I've given up with relationships long time ago. I'm just an ugly fat incel and no woman would ever date me again.

I do worry about this a lot but telling her how I really felt it helped tbh. I didn't go looking for a relationship but I'm glad that it is what it is now and if it does end, hopefully I'll have at least made some sort of progress on myself.

I think you should date even if suicidal.

The chance it could mend your heart and make you less suicidal is more than enough to make up for the additional pain it could inflict.

I would 'see' someone who has suicidal tendencies. Could be fun?

I thought my last relationship had cured me of my underlying depression and suicide ideation......until it ended and here I am about to spend a load of money on a flow regulator.

I see what you mean but not all relationships turn out the same. I think what we should really say is that suicidal people should be especially careful about dating.

I've been dating my love for a year now. I sometimes wish I had never met him, or that he would leave me, because then I would be able to ctb. He is the only thing holding me to the earth.

Yeah relationships are unpredictable. Some may work out, some don't work.

In my case, I avoid relationship like plague. Too many fucked-up things with me: social anxiety, shitty verbal skills, ADHD, hidden hearing loss, jobless, being poor, ... I don't even talk much with family members. What the hell I'm going to talk with a girl ?

I hate to say this but ending your life and being in a relationship of any kind with anyone is 2 completely different things. Consider a parent who CTB and leaves one or more kids AND a wife or husband or S.O. behind. If you decide 100% that you want to leave this world then nobody who is in your life really matters at that point. You could try and have "responsibility" in a way but all the people you know are going to be hurt including parents, kids, friends, and lovers and even strangers who will have to be there to console those people. Meanwhile you will be somewhere else in the afterlife because for whatever reason you could not stay here any longer. That is your journey to take if you decide to take it. Until then have a relationship if you wish. Have kids. Try to enjoy life until you fibally CTB. Even if your "lover" knows and tries to help somehow, YOU will go alone. Nobody is going to hold hands with you when you die and cross over with you. Except Pharos who took their priests and hookers and pets with them as they thought they were God's and had to keep up the "charade" for their kids taking the throne. You wont be "breaking up" you will be leaving the world stage and going to wherever it is that people go when they die. After that there is nothing we can do about anything that happens. Which is half the battle of deciding to die. You will miss them and they will miss you. Until then enjoy life.

I have to agree if I known this years ago I would have avoided every man like the plague and kept them as friends no sex as these attachments made me more depressed suicidal and regretful
