They prescribed them to me for "add/adhd"

I feel like doctors like to throw pills at you any chance they can get - why I can't hardly put my trust into them anymore.

I'd think it be too soon to test for adhd for four year olds...I mean don't all 4 year olds act inattentive at that age? Way too soon to me.

I agree I've been on I'm almost every single stimulant for ADHD that there is. I was also on adult doses when I was a kid. They started low and kept raising it. I was taking 40mg of Adderall at around the age of 6 or 7. I've been on all sorts of meds though. Includong Risperdal when it first came out which made me develop breast.

That's insane - though mine can be used for ADHD, it's primarily for my depression. (Though I suspect that I may have ADHD) their solution always is if they stop working, just keep increasing the dosage - which seems counter intuitive to me. It's like putting a bandaid over the actual problem - But they don't bother looking into that.

They don't care if you end up suffering side effects from these pill concoctions either, as long as they get that money from your pocket.

But yeah...doctors get on my nerves :,) I'm sorry to hear you were also one of their victims.

Adderall abuse in college I believe destroyed b12 production which I believe led to disease in my case.

started at 17 years old. stopped at 21 and unable to function normally since... I was perfectly able to function before started to taking them at 17.. i had only social anxiety and depression from time to time. Now I have depression from the side effect still there 7 months after the stop.. everything is perfectly fine otherwise. These doctors are unaware, I will never trust psychiatry again.
