SS is the only place in the known universe where people can truly be themselves and speak freely
of and on subjects normals fear to even mention. I think everyone here deserves a very strong hug
for all of the sufferings they have endured. I cannot tell you of my joy and delight in freely speaking to
others about our ctb desires. I hope each of you can find your way to peace, warmth, joy love, comfort,
and refreshment. We all have nothing but each other here on this blessed forum. I'd like to take the time
to thank each and every one of you for sharing for hopes, frustrations and emotions with those of us
here on the SS forum. Pray, let us all be careful of those who would shut us down as this is the only
resource I have ever heard of that is especially for us. Should this site go we all should be poorer.

This is a nice post. It's beyond horrifying that so much suffering exists, and that people continue to be brought into this world everyday who will eventually have to ctb. Life could never be worth enduring for me so of course it's necessary that there is ctb method information. Those who want to silence any kind of conversation relating to suicide are both cruel and delusional. Suicide should always be respected as a valid personal decision.

I agree entirely.

I've noticed that for many of us, it is almost an ecstatic experience just to be given a modicum of validation, rather than being told we are wrong for feeling what we are feeling. It's not enough to change the blunt fact that life sucks for so many people, but it's still an island of relief in an ocean of suffering.
