Sorry but I’m scared

Guys, I'm sorry but I'm just feeling scared rn. Maybe u saw I just tried ligature strangulation with the string from curtain blinds & felt like I nearly succeeded but got scared of not succeeding fully and ending up damaged… i started feeling a bit faint, felt/heard my neck arteries pumping like a heartbeat type thing idek how to explain, i havent seen anyone say anything abt that feeling, i guess they were compressed well tho… but then i got a weird feeling in the right side of my face which turned into a strange ear pressure and warmth, i then got scared and released it. what are the chances I did bad damage? Or any at all? I didn't black out or lose my vision. I held it for about 10-15 seconds. Ty
I still slightly have the feeling in my ear. I didn't lose my hearing or hear ringing or anything, it's just this weird sensation.
It feels like I damaged a nerve or something that happened to be on that side of my face & close to my ear. It's like an itchy feeling now almost too. Can anyone provide insight on what may have happened

Please be careful.when I tried partial I felt the same pressure,it's a pretty overwhelming feeling.You don't need to worry about damage since the duration was so short.

Don't go through with something if it doesn't feel right.

I'm not a doctor or an expert but I would doubt that you did any permanent damage but if it is not better in the morning you might want to contact your doctor. It sounds like you might have blocked the artery on one side and not quite as much on the other side. Once again, I am not a doctor.

Thank u but it's like a different pressure it wasnt like the normal stuff it started only in the right side of my face then it went to my right ear only

Like @gottacheckout said, I am not a doctor or expert, however I was in a very nasty car crash and the crash messed up the entire CNS (central nervous system) on the entire right side of my body.

Now with that said, everything from 24/7 constant pain to some very unusual quirks like what you mentioned about yourself.

If it was me, I would go get checked out by a neurologist, as most of what I have been told is that not only do the nerves generally not go back to square one, but they can also continue to get damaged even more.

Like on me at first it was mostly above my waist centered around the back of my neck, as the spinal cord was torn from the back base of my brain. However, over time now, nerves on my right hip and down my right leg into my foot are really hurting and that is the progressive aspect of the original nerve damage. It will only get worse.

If you get checked out so that there is hopefully no nerve damage and pray to GOD not but if there is they can work on containing it.

Lots of caring thoughts and hugs to you and I will say a prayer for you when I retire this evening.
