Do you have an overall favorite song from them?
I do, actually! Wait, no I don't. It's so hard! It's between three- Pictureboard, Across the Line, or Iridescent. They're all so good, just for different moods. Probably Pictureboard though. What's your favorite song?

I'll probably ctb to Pictureboard as well. Just such a peaceful song with my favorite refrain ever. "Night in the corner, in the back of the hall, where we sit all alone and listen to the rain fall" I absolutely love the rain, and that sounds exactly like what I'd want to do with someone lmao

I don't really have a favorite song. I like a variety. Maybe you'll find a friend or partner to sit in the corner or next to the window listening to rain with you.

I appreciate the sentiment. If you want to chat you can message me. I like taking song recommendations. I'll check out Pictureboard when I have time and tell you what I think.

I listened to pictureboard today. i enjoyed it especially the guitar intro. The chorus was really cool to and the transitions between moods was well done.

Nice, I'm glad you liked it! It's one of my favorite songs ever, it really showcases how Mike and Chester can work off each other.

I mostly like the early 2000s music. I don't listen to depressing songs anymore cuz it just makes me feel worse. I do like some 90s music and some new stuff too tho.

Some songs I like:
Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield
Realize - Colbie Caillat
Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson
Fallin' for you - Colbie Caillat
Tongue tied - GROUPLOVE
Hand in My Pocket - Alanis Morissette
Suddenly I see - KT Tunstall

I just like songs that make me not think but also don't make me feel like shit cuz they are depressing.

Haven't heard any of these! Except the Alanis Morissette one. I'll have to listen to a couple!

I didn't expect a reply or for anyone to read this for some reason… Because I just made my account and you're the first person to interact with me (but I got some replies shortly after this).

Anyways idk if they are good songs, I just like them because they were played a lot during my childhood. So I probably just like them because of nostalgia.

I've got some truly nostalgic songs too. "Here it goes again" by OK Go used to play a lot in my dad's car, and it brings me back whenever I hear it now. And I noticed you were new! It's a great community here, one of many nice people who just haven't been treated right by life. I'm sorry about whatever brought you here. I'll give the songs a listen, I'm sure they're great! I'll see you around the forum, mate.

Not entirely sure why you posted this in the "suicide discussion" subforum.

Anyway, whenever I'm super super down, I listen to depressive/suicidal black metal (DSBM), my first every username on this site was a reference to this song by a band called I'm in a Coffin. They're one of the most depressing and soul-wrenching groups I've ever heard.

Hope I did my part in putting you (and hopefully some others) onto this amazing genre. It's an actually super fitting for this place/community and all.

I'm a big metal fan too! Every now and again I get into the mood for a good Corey Taylor scream in my ear. I'll give this song a listen!

Yeah you probably didn't. this is far from like mainstream rock. Definitely not something just any random would hear about

It's definitely not like accessible nu metal type shii. 😭 DSBM far from that. and I understand it's not for everybody, but it is definitely the truest embodiment of depressive (or "suicidal") music
