Oh yeah, this is simply true, but if you see it from their perspective it's a more pragmatic approach for them to make it all workable, it makes their own issues more approachable. Just a matter of priorities. It's true that in this life so many people are disadvantaged through no fault of their own, the reality is that life is such a terrible concept where chance determines everything and we have limited control over our circumstances. This makes me believe that it's always preferable to never exist at all, as those who never exist never have the capacity to suffer, they are saved from experiencing the burden that is existence and the reality is that bringing life here is such a tragic and cruel thing.

There's no real benefit to creating unnecessary problems all for no purpose which would inevitably be created by bringing life here. Suicide also makes so much sense to me, as there is nothing more ideal than permanently not existing. To continue to exist is only delaying the inevitable anyway so at least to me it's better to free myself to prevent more years of a pointless and painful existence.

I've definitely felt like I'm cursed. I dunno about karma, but so many bad things have happened to me that it's almost uncanny. I don't know if it's more comforting to think that it was all for a reason like a curse or that it happened without a reason and I was just really unlucky.

I am sorry for your life situation. If someone succeeds in life is not only about motivation - people have different capacities. Not everyone can be lucky in life. Because of overpopulation, which causes problems everywhere, we also have competition. People who are rich and heathty usually don´t understand the sick because we all live in the cave of Plato. The rich and healthy probably expect that everyone else should be able to function as well as themselves. It is also easy to be nonchalantly and mean when you are having too much fun. These people use to be overly optimistic and are in total denial of death and suicide - the same way the society is - and therefore they fit in perfectly.

It is no wonder that people are depressed when life is meaningless. People suffering from chronic pain and or chronic health problems should have the right to euthanasia - anyone should have the right to euthanasia whenever they want it for any reason whatsoever. We are living in a cruel and stupid time because of the lack of human euthanasia. Our pets are euthanazied at the vetenarian, but people are expected to suffer as long as possible before they die. The society tries to force humans to live in a world where we are all going to die anyway. It seems that the politicians consider man to be a god, not an animal, as we are. I really do think some of us just have broken software/programming/whatever. that's part of what makes it hard for me. Most of us yea. I think maybe even all of us, but some get thaught how to live, some learn on their own. Some don't. Survival of the fittest. We should be grateful we live in a time where we get to complain about existence. Imagine you were some slave in Egypt or a pesant in middle ages.

This just reminded me of my mom saying how she had me because she wanted purpose in life.
