Hello all.

Just wanted to give a few details about my wellness check to give others an **idea** of what to expect and some things that can be learned from my experience. Before I continue please remember that this was a subjective experience, and the officers who visit you may not act in the same way they did to me.

I don't want to be too specific about my experience as it could be used to identify me and monitor my activity, so I will provide as much as I am comfortable with.

The officers arrived at my residence late in the evening, and forced entry as I was asleep and did not hear anything at all. I woke up to them standing over me and asking if I knew why they were here. I denied everything repeatedly for over an hour, and eventually requested to speak to a solicitor. They asked if I already had one and I said no, where can I go to make calls? They let me out to the back of the police van where I made a few calls but received no response from the three solicitors (local to me) which I made calls to. I came back inside and the officers told me once again that I did not need a solicitor because they 'just wanted to talk' and that I wasn't being charged with anything. At this exact moment, my anxiety began to build as I was left without legal support and I knew that them saying "you aren't being charged with a crime" only meant [YET]. The officers managed to reassure me and talked to me with respect and understanding. They attempted to empathise with me and share their struggles which was nice, though not helpful.

They then told me that they were aware of pentobarbital being seized/used in the UK, and that it is a rising issue in the UK. They said it was becoming a popular option particularly for younger people, but I'm not sure what they class as young. They had also mentioned that it's sometimes intercepted with metoclopramide; they had no reason to share this information with me but I'm writing this to inform other users that police definitely know what meto is being used for in these type of situations. I believe that the fact they know about the usage of metoclopramide in suicide cases/methods will lead to stricter measures being taken regarding the prescription of metoclopramide to 'younger people'.

Near the end of the wellness visit (~2 hours in), they made a phone call to a mental health facility somewhat near me, which to this day I have little understanding of what they do and what the purpose of the phone call was. They then told me that they would send a report to my GP and be classing this event as a suicide attempt. The report takes 2-3 weeks to be sent, and they advised me to phone my GP in the meantime which I did not.

Other notes:
-The officers were very keen to learn from me how much the N costs, meaning they either don't know how much is being paid, or that they have received conflicting reports from survivors.
-Almost 2 months later, I have received no follow up, and despite taking the measures that I did, my doctors are still treating me like a child and not supporting me in my recovery whatsoever. One of my doctors told me that because I've been on several antidepressants and had a great many therapy/counselling experiences, that at this point I have to do the hard work on my own. They then spoke to my mother and told her that they think I'm just 'very negative' and 'unwilling'. This experience only makes me angrier and I wonder what, if any, consequences the doctor will face following this experience, knowing how severely suicidal I am and have been for years.

My advice to anyone reading: do NOT order N to the UK. From all the threads I've read since around April onwards, there is about a 10% success rate in receiving N from D to the UK.
Thanks for reading, and I hope that this experience can be used to help others make an informed decision. I would greatly appreciate the advice of other members if you believe I have given details which can be used to uniquely identify me.

This might be a silly question, but, did they actually find it?

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's so awful how we live in a world where others would rather have us suffer until old age than die peacefully when the time is right for us. A peaceful exit shouldn't be a crime. I'm sorry that you had to go through all this. Best wishes.

I forgot to mention that it was seized!

Without mentioning dates/timeframes, it took much much longer than it should have to be seized. Ordered on day A, no updates to tracking for a very long time, random update comes on day B, and a couple days later on day C, police came. Tracking still says the same thing it did on day B.

Thank you friend. My time will come, just ironing out some things then will try again. I know what I want and I think it's totally rational. Wishing all the best for you <3

What was written on the warrant?
There was no warrant ever shown to me. I don't think they require a warrant if they suspect immediate risk to life. I can't give any further details on how they entered my home as the circumstances were pretty unique and could easily be used to identify me. Sorry :/

That's right :(
If only I had waited another couple of weeks from when I ordered to see the flood of posts about people receiving LE visits in the UK, would have saved a pretty penny. Luckily SN is somewhat readily available here. Thank you for your comment, lots of love to you my friend.

Without a warrant they cannot enter private property with the intention to seize property.

I'd hire an attorney to be prepared for whatever may follow.

That's so crazy! I can't believe they just went to your house, you didn't even have anything there, and they knew that! They're clearly going to great lengths at this point. Again, I'm so sorry that happened 😔

Is that the States? I don't think it's the same in every country.

That is the case in all countries in North America, Mexico too.

If what they did is legal in the UK, I'd get the heck out of that barbaric place.

police don't need a warrant to enter a property if they suspect there is an imminent risk to a person's well-being and/or there is a crime being committed (or one has been.) this is their so-called "duty of care" - in some cases they are obligated to do this. if police officers receive information someone is holding a gun to their head inside their house, the police will enter that house and do what they can to take the gun away from the person - in this scenario, they are well within their rights to do so.

now all this being said, the laws surrounding seizing actual items during a wellness check are a bit nuanced and not relevant in this case since it sounds like OP never actually received the product.

interestingly, i'm not actually convinced the police were justified to enter op's home in this case... it would depend on a good number of things.

It's the UK right? Over here police will bend the rules to suit them. Sorry you had to go through all that! I'm not on any mental health radar so I hope for a smoother experience that I can blag my way out of should I get a visit..it's still risky though. That's why I'm desperately hoping D is finding some way round this.

I need to do some more reading cos I thought meto was for sn, but it's for N as well?

This is so fucked up. How is it helpful to treat someone like a criminal for being suicidal? The comments from your doctor are just the icing on the cake. Beyond clueless.

You should ask for an affidavit of probable cause. If this wasn't presented to you when they invaded your home, You could probably have a lawyer get you some pretty good compensation.

I would definitely stand up for your rights though. Those LEOs should be swinging from a tall oak tree.

The more I read the post, the less sense it makes… they let you out of the "police van" to make the call? Were you cuffed? They were left in your house during that? I'm so confused.

Hi, I wasn't cuffed at any point and they reminded me on several occasions that I wasn't being arrested and wasn't being charged with any crime. I insisted that I'd like to speak to a solicitor because I didn't know if/how I could get into trouble if I spoke to them. I asked for privacy because obviously I would need to disclose the facts of the situation to a solicitor and didn't want the officers to hear and use anything I said against me. They offered to let me sit in the back of their van while they both stood nearby outside the van.

Although compensation sounds nice, I'm not sure I want to rattle the hive and risk embarrassing myself. I've never had any difficulty with the law and as mentioned, the officers were very respectful. I think if anything, I'd wait until this situation negatively impacts me in the future before I get angry at what happened. Right now I'm just trying to brush it under the rug.

That said, thanks a lot to you and the others who replied with advice on this matter :)

D sometime includes meto in his shipments of N, I personally don't know if it's random or if he sends meto to recipients who are in countries he knows/believes won't seize meto. Meto isn't a necessary component of the N method, it's just a peace of mind thing as far as I know.
But you are right too, meto is used with SN, and is more important in the SN method than it is in the N method (again, from what I've read)
