It's different chemical altogether, and I don't know what it would do if ingested. Sodium is an element that produces many compounds. Indeed, common table salt is one of them (sodium chloride).
With respect to the OP, thinking that a chemical with a similar name is a suitable substitute displays ignorance of chemistry, and that is what leads to a failed CTB attempt. I've even seen a person in here asking whether they could use ingest sodium hydroxide in place of SN! Please educate yourself before using any chemical, and make sure that it is precisely the chemical that you need. If you're not sure, don't drink anything. Other chemicals may not kill you, but they sure a hell could cause enormous and painful damage.
