i always think that society will never be able to handle idea of someone ending their own life because of religion and how it has always put an importance of living lives but society also does not want to accept that people can be so unhappy or bitter about their life that they want to end it
@Aeathelina There are so many f*cking sanctimonious arseholes in this world that actually enjoy judging, condemning and bullying others whenever a vunlerable person opens up about their problems. Both religious and non religious people are capable of doing this destructive depraved behaviour and enjoy engaging in this behaviour. Mob mentality is a sickness that posions everything.
This past year I have encountered the worst ever online bullying, hate and just pure judgemental behaviour from non religious secular feminist women online on social media fourms and online communities for women.
Throughout the years I have opened up anonymously online on social media fourms and online communities for women about my true insecurities and feelings and asked for advice on how to deal with these feelings. I thought I was safe in a woman's space opening up about my insecurities. The women who builled and judged me online were older women who were over the age of 35 year olds some even have children.
• I have opened up about my persistent sadness of seeing women I grew up getting married or having serious relationships because its an awful reminder of how I was always rejected by guys as a teenager while all the other girls got into a relationship. I was confident as teenage girl but guys I liked rejected and even humiliated me at school, i was the school outsider who got builled regularly and . This older British feminist women saw my posts and began taunting me calling said" you just wanted to kiss a school footballer oh woe is me" and the bitch kept taunting me so much. It was so disturbing because the woman is in her 40s.
I befriended this secular feminist young woman online after I apologised to her because I made controversial comments on the feminist social platform which she was so upset and outraged by.
At first we got on so well and discovered we had some things in common after messaging each other on discord. We both shared stories of how men hurt us over the years and how it harmed us mentally. The woman is a rape survivor and grew up in an abusive household.
The woman then reveals all our private conservations on discord to the women in the feminist social media group honestly and she was making fun of me. The woman went on about how she is a rape survivor and mocked me for being upset over male rejection I experienced throughout my life
She said "She's so unbelievably sheltered that the worst problems of her life was teenage boys being teenage boys in highschool" and told all the women about how I wanted a " Disney princess boyfriend". She even attacked my privileged upbringing. Her older feminists friends were even joining in with her mockery and criticism of me.
I have never seen such a evil f*cking spiteful b*-tch.
Yes and even with all the protesting and campaigning, the harsh reality and truth is that NOTHING will change unless the corrupt politicians who are actually in charge all of a sudden get a magical change of heart which lmaoooo we all know will never happen so yeah that's the truth it will never change.
@Obliviate what annoys me the most is that the pharmaceutical companies and politicians keep rejecting radical helpful scientifically tested medicine treatments which can help treat severe mental illnesses people suffer from. It is all about profit.
In the UK a couple of years ago medical cannabis treatments for some illness was legalised and allowing people to access medical cannabis under the NHS but despite this many people in the UK struggle to get medical cannabis under the NHS because of our strict ridiculous drug laws.
Rescently new study published in the Journal of Clinical Pyschiatry revealed that people who received intravenous ketamine treatments showed clear improvement in their anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation symptoms.
As part of the expriment "each individual received six infusions within 21 days and "maintenance infusions" were offered based on clinical response, according to the study.
Within the six-week time frame of initial treatment, 50% responded to the treatment and 20% showed remission of their depressive symptoms. There was also a 50% reduction in self-harm and suicidal ideation symptoms within this period."

This do this because it comes down to profit, profit and profit. Cannabis is a natural plant part of nature under Intellectual property laws natural things can not be patented. Big pharma can not have the full control of the cannabis planet to profit from and does not want anyone else to benefit from this plant. Big pharma would lose a lot of money in anti depressant sales if the public turn to effective alternative radical medical treatments that work.
Introducing newer radical treatments also expensive and the government does not want to spend money on this. Governments would rather spend money on funding wars rather than helping people in need.
Yes so true it's almost just rude to ask someone that. It's hard enough to call a hotline then be reminded you don't have anyone.
Even when I tried to find a new therapist I talked to so many of them who would not take on a patient who was suicidal. Like what did you get into this profession for?
@brokensea People have a very romanticised view of therapy in which they believe therapy is about counselling that crying divorced woman whose husband dumped her or helping that troubled teenager everyone misunderstands or helping bring feuding families together. The movies and TV shows therapists are depicted as nice people helping others.
Honestly some people think because they have watched Dr Phil they can be a therapist too therapy is nothing like Dr Phil
The vast majority of people in society have been privileged in never experiencing issues with severe mental health issues and suicidal thoughts as a result people do not want to discuss publicly or listen to people who are suicidal people. They do this because the topic of suicide makes them feel uncomfortable.
It is easier for these people to ignore the problem of suicide because it doesn't effect them
