Not sure if everyone is on it fb/twit/insta etc. Well if you are we all have the fake friends the ones who wouldn't even say hello to you on the street. However they would write RIP and all that crap on your page. Would you delete or deactivate your account before you cbt+ and how would you feel about people writing on your page RIP? just curious me personally I'd be deleting it if I know for sure I wont be waking up.. not that I'm on it that much its full of crap pre teens giving out and people selling junk and crap news reports lol

Im looking at doing that but I do have some nice friends abroad. Be a shame if I just deleted it an eyebrows could be raised in my circumstances

Ive requested on fb the my account gets deleted upon my death, you can chose that or legacy. Ive also turned off my facebook wall. When it comes to insta, I don't allow comments much so nothing there either. Hate social media but it's kinda needed which sucks

I truly despise all those social media sites and don't use them. I used to have a fb account long time ago, deleted it after a couple of months. All the fakeness, stupidity and nonsense there were way too overwhelming.

Really don't want extended "family", whom I haven't engaged with in years, leaving messages.

I have comments disabled, but even the thought of people (mostly my extended family) writing posts about me on THEIR social media, putting my picture as their profile pictures or praying for me makes me absolutely nauseous and angry. Thankfully I won't be alive to see it, but still makes me extremely uncomfortable. I just want to be forgotten.

Ill delete my social media, for sure. I don't want any of it turned into some memorial. I only use Facebook now to post memes and pictures of our dogs to basically amuse my husbands family. I like them well enough, and fond of our niece and nephew. They're better than my family, imho. My side of the family all formed cliques, and never talk to one another, let alone to me. The most recent communication was almost 8 years ago. My uncle, who I hadn't talked to in decades, called me just after my dad died, only to ask for some family heirloom. Two faced vultures the bunch of them.
I know it works both ways, and I could reach out to them, but I'm at this point where I just think "fuck'em".

Yeah after my last attempt all the family had their sympathy statuses up.. then after that I ended up in a crisis home for abit, after dropping me off and signing me in there was no visits or nothing. They'd had their sympathy on social media for the day at my expense. Says it all really..
