So no one in the UK has a gun, or knows anyone that can get a gun??? Is this the facts?

People in the UK have guns (no I don't) but the measures you need to go through including an in depth background check, police interview in your home. Also what your storage arrangements are and I believe character references this one you need first, so most wouldn't bother or probably get one. Most likely if someone on here is in the UK and has a gun they are unlikely going to let anyone use it.

Gun ownership in the UK was much higher a few years ago but after some shootings this stopped an there was amnesties and now you have to go through the hoops that the above member mentioned.

I thought about that too that's how I learnt what it takes to get one. True but finding a seller that's the miracle find.

The problem with that is you need to know someone on the "street" and thats an alien place, Plus I think anyone looking or asking will probably get thrown under the bus and not just CTB or a lot of time in hospital.
Getting the gun is the easy bit.
Getting ammunition is the hard part
Really, easy.

As long as you get the 9mm blanks which are very easy to get, making the actual bullet is very simple

Oh I have no idea how easy it is, that was missing the ? to justlosingmyselfs response,

I know, just thought it was funny imaging myself or anyone doing just that.
I don't think anyone here would give out info like that even if they had and if someone did would you trust them?

I guess street dealers are a good place to start asking. I used to have a few 9mm bullets that a friend gave me like 14 years ago. I think they got thrown out. Useless without a gun anyway lol.

Yes, more than i remembered.
The current licensing procedure involves: positive verification of identity, two referees of verifiable good character who have known the applicant for at least two years (and who may themselves be interviewed and/or investigated as part of the certification), approval of the application by the applicant's own family doctor, an inspection of the premises and cabinet where firearms will be kept and a face-to-face interview by a Firearms Enquiry Officer (FEO) also known as a Firearms Liaison Officer (FLO). A thorough background check of the applicant is then made by special branch on behalf of the firearms licensing department. Only when all these stages have been satisfactorily completed will a license be issued, which must be renewed every 5 years.

Since 1968, self-defense has not been considered a valid reason to own a firearm.

Quite easily...
Aside from the paranoid most feel quite safe from violence and violent crime. Violent crime does happen but it's relatively rare, and gun related crime (even gang related) is even rarer.
Self defense is a valid reason for obtaining a (hand)gun license, but there must be a clear and verifiable threat to ones life or family. The security services will make that determination. e.g. being on the IRA's or the UVF's shit list will qualify, though they're officially not very active anymore.

Yeah here in the US life is much better. A little over 1 percent of violent crimes are committed with guns here and nearly all of those occur in large democratic / socialist cities. Freedom here is great, we respect peoples rights and dont look to the government for control or safety. The Dems want to change that and make this a Socialist shithole but it aint gonna happen. All of these mass shootings that get televised are less than 1 percent of gun crimes. Stay away from big cities and life is great. Many of these mass shootings are false flags to promote the liberal agenda.

I'm happy you think that. I beg to differ and data disagrees with you.

Freedom index USA in 17th place (Cato institute)
Infant mortality rate USA 34th, more than Russia OECD data 2019
Incarceration rate USA 1st place by far Brookings Institute
Access to health care USA 37th
OECD
Life expectancy 46th (CIA)
Violent Crime rate USA 5 per 100,000 vs EU 1 per 100,000 (OECD 2019)
Healthcare cost: USA is top of the list, with nr 2 not even close.

So much for socialist shitholes I guess.
As for life being great outside blue/democratic cities/states being shitholes, do bear in mind that overall they fund the rest of the US through federal transfers to keep the lights on (there's a couple of exceptions).
But yes, it could be worse I suppose.

I dont know where you get your numbers from the CIA but the rest of the organizations are either funded or owned by the CDC which we all know is liberal and corrupt.
While we dont do experimental health care like many other countries we have some of the best health care in the world. Is it expensive? Yep. As it should be. A teenager through his 40s shouldnt have to pay over 60 percent income tax for something he might never use. Health insurance is one of the biggest scams ever. I was paying over 800 dollars a month and never needed a doctor until i had my gall bladder out. That cost 11000 dollars. Where does all that money go while we dont use the health insurance. Better to go without and get a bill after, its waaay cheaper.
Btw, your violent crime numbers are grossly off. .
USA over reports through liberals and the UK under reports also through liberals. Its funny tho. Ive known 9 families in my lifetime that visited the US from the UK. They all moved here for good and said they would never go back. Besides. The UK is too close to george soros who wants to destroy america.

Sure... the OECD is owned or funded by the CDC..., why not by Bill Gates while you're at it.
The Earth is flat and is run by a cabal of paedophiles...
I bring numbers and sources, and yes the CIA does publish data, and you respond with claptrap, doubtful anecdotes and conspiracy theories....
You should stop putting your ignorance on display.

You should use the Tor browser and a search engine other than google. More people die from suicide by firearm in the US than all other crimes including firearms combined.

And you should inform yourself better, or stop confusing things. "Suicide", or "attempted suicide" is not a crime, be it in the US or anywhere else in the developed world. You and I are perfectly free to off ourselves -or try to - on our own as we see fit without fear of criminal prosecution.
You make assertions without proof, evidence or sources. As such they're worthless and can be dismissed out of hand.
