Just in time for Christmas, my three bottles of N have arrived! I bought them from A using Bitcoin and went regular post. It only took 6 days to arrive in North Carolina. A was very polite during the whole process and even gave me a tracking number when I asked for it.

I'd like to thank most of you for the company you've provided me for the past few months, but now with my method in hand, it looks like it's almost time for me to clock out. I'm still waiting for my antiemetics, but those should come soon as well. Once they arrive, and I get all my affairs in order, I'm going to book a hotel room in a nearby town and CTB. I've even got a cute little bag to keep all my supplies in!

(For those of you not up to date with your Pokémon, Munna is known as the "dream eater" Pokémon and Musharna is known as the "drowsing" Pokémon, so I thought it was a fitting design for my sleep kit.)

I might get on SS every once in a while until then, but for now, this is ¡adiós!

Of course! "A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-boggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough."

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: nonhitchhiker) discovers that a hitchhiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, washcloth, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet-weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitchhiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitchhiker might accidentally have "lost." What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the Galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through and still know where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

I just opened a bottle. The smell is honestly not that bad. It smells like chemicals (granted, I have drunk and smelled some pretty questionable stuff before this). I haven't taste-tested it yet, but if I do, I'll let you know what it tastes like.

Just did a taste-test of about 3/4 of a teaspoon. The N itself isn't terrible but the aftertaste lingers for a long time. It's less putrid and more bitter and synthetic. It tastes like really strong soap without the fruity flavor. This will be hard to chug if you aren't used to downing alcohol. Chocolate will be necessary for me if I want to down the entire 3 bottles.

Yes, it made me sleepy. I went from being restless and not tired at all to being knocked out for almost 7 hours.
