  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

The more I read the more it seems meto just serves to delay the vommiting long enough to let enough SN get into your system.

it seems to be a very common misconception that the intent of meto is to prevent nausea and vomiting. The primary purpose is to drain the stomach faster. If the substance leaves the stomach faster and goes into the small intestine faster there is higher rate of absorption, and it can no longer be vomited out. The fact that it prevents some degree of vomiting is just an added bonus. People very much do still vomit with meto, and not using meto doesn't prevent effectiveness since a second glass isn't that hard to have ready.

I think it really depends on the person and their personal tolerance levels. Two people could carry out the SN method exactly the same, but they will have different experiences before they ctb. One could vomit excessively, while the other may not vomit at all, or just a small amount. One may feel pain, the other may not. One might feel hot, tingly, breathless: one may fall unconscious much earlier than the other.

It is important to bear in mind that whilst there may be a common 'end', the journey will always be slightly different.

Now coupling to Meto to Ondansetron is pushed in the PPeH and in Oregon. It seems to have been studied by the medical field. Their action seems somehow complementary.

Good post. This information should be included in more of the SN threads.

you can still be successful without meto. you will just have to drink a second glass of SN after you inevitably throw up to ensure there is enough in your system to absorb.

if you are talking about the second glass of SN; you would put the same amount in grams in the second glass, so you would have two glasses of ~25 grams SN to ~50ml tepid water.

Good point about the tolerance levels. I have not vomited involuntarily very often in my life but when I did it was force to be reckoned with so I don't know what to expect.
