Hi guys.

So I got this condition that slows gastric empyting for everything I eat or drink. Stuff stays on my stomach longer them it should, it's called Gastroparesis.

Tho I don't feel any symptons from it, just feel the food lingering there longer them it should, and apparently I lost my reflex to vomit. That happened after a viral infection I had.

So if I can't vomit, if I take the 25g of SN, does it matter that it's going to take longer to be absorved? Once it is on my organism I'm done for it? I wonder if matters the rate that it goes to my intestines.

Perhaps I could take more of it?

I would like insights if possible

Just have 2 cups available (or more?) it might take slightly longer for you to absorb it (from seeing that said condition slows absorption) but keep it down for 10 mins ( or longer?) and your dead.
However idk, since poising may be absorbed faster than say food..(iirc theres not much research on 'rate of digesting poison)

TLDR: Just fast a while longer. Drink enough SN, that you can keep down, and before you know it…you won't know it.

How interesting. Did he CTB using SN though?
It's a shame his goodbye thread isn't more detailed. It was because the Gastroparesis that he did if? If so, I can understand him.

Anyway, how come you don't have it anymore? I'd like to chat about it if you are in to it.

Yes he used SN. They misdiagnosed me I believe. I think what caused my slow emptying was my thyroid issues I had stopped taking it for a year and when i got back on everything was fine and also I had to remove my gallbladder so that probably was another culprit of why I was throwing up everyday.

Well, I'm glad for you that you don't have it. It's a damn cruel desiese to live with.
Btw, thanks for the input. I feel much much better knowing that I'll be able to exit using it. I don't think I have it in me to use partial, much prefer to drink something and wait watching a favorite movie laying and relaxing.

It's not going to be 'relaxing' after drinking a poison and focusing on a movie would be back of the line

I have gastroparesis too. I've never heard of gastroparesis causing inability to vomit, honestly I'm unsure that's even a thing. Usually gastroparesis would cause acid reflux and vomiting, not the opposite. Maybe you can't vomit on demand, but if you were to ingest a poisonous substance I am pretty convinced you would vomit.
Your best bet are anti-emetics. Metoclopramide, for example, will increase stomach emptying and help with absorbtion.

Yeah, perhaps. What I meant was that, contraty to partial, for exemple, I don't have to do the act myself. Drinking something and waiting seens easier for me, I guess...

May I ask how were you diagnosed?

I haven't been diagnosed, but I feel like I have this and other GI issues. I hope fasting for 24 hours is enough because that might be all I get.

No, I have no appetite and burp a lot. Sometimes when I burp, I can kinda taste vomit but none actually comes out as far as I can tell. Mild acid reflux maybe.

By the way, does anyone know if SN will be okay with acid reflux?

Comparable to consuming an excessive amount of salt, SN ingestion may lead to GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) in the long run; in the short term, I do not believe it will exacerbate your acid reflux. Please make sure that you take anti-emetics prior to SN.

I had a bad reaction to meto so I'm definitely not taking that. Not sure if Ondansetron will be any different. I do have LPR and GERD?

I have gastroparesis, but sn is my method. I suffer from chronic vomiting and nausea, and I have to take zofran and reglan everyday, but I'm not really worried about it being effective. My stomach usually goes through periods where it seems to be sort of okay, but other times I have big flare-ups where it just doesn't empty at all that could last days or weeks.

If you're like me, you probably have a prescription for reglan/meto already. And if you don't, it should be super easy to get one. Just say you keep having flare-ups and your stomach is staying super full for way too long and it's making you vomit excessively.

Anyway, meto empties your stomach, which is why it's so important and recommended in this method. And liquids move through the stomach a lot easier than solids.
Combine that with making sure you time it to where your stomach is functioning not so bad, and I think you'll be fine. Or not fine. However you want to look at it...

Perhaps I could take more of it?
Taking more will increase your likelihood of vomiting.
