  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at admin@sanctioned-suicide.net.

I read that SN takes at least 20 minutes to make you lose consciousness. I know some people have benzos to be sleepy. But I do not have any way of getting it. What are you guys planning to do those 20 min? I am scared my survival instict or my fear or my panic attacks give me away or that I regret it somehow. Any insight if any on how to prevent it ?? I feel like those minutes will be hell.

Does SN react with alcohol? I have Quetiapine on prescription and saved up a whole lot of them as a sort of exit stash till I realised I can't really use it to OD effectively. Quetiapine pairs really well with whiskey and I have thought that I might take a few and do some drinking and take the SN shortly before passing out so I didn't have to worry about the gradual effects of SN.

Take a couple melatonin. Easy to get muscle relaxers from a back doc. No point in suffering.

Nothing I'll just lay there. I will be too focused on anticipating the various effects to be distracted. The fear of being in fetal position with a stomach pain like you ate an Arbys sandwich is high

Alcohol is discouraged as it increases the likelihood of vomit.

The waiting game is completely not for me and I will rather either go for the exit bag. I would like to leave by gun, however it's difficult to get a firearm permit here.

either listen to some of my favourite music or talk to my good friend if she's up for it, as fucked up as that might sound, she's really been there for me in these dire days, so it would mean a lot to have that kind of support in my last moments, even if it's only on a computer.. a lot of the music i like is a bit.. intense?? so i'm actually not sure if that would feel good while i'm about to die..

This has been on my mind a lot lately. I'm worried about what'll happen between drinking it and falling asleep. I'm planning to go in the woods, so even if I'm in a tent it will be nice to lay and listen to the wind in the trees, the birds, whatever other sounds I can hear. I have a particular album that I have been listening to exclusively since I decided to CTB, so it would also be nice to give a few tracks from it a listen. I just wish that I could be certain that my SI wouldn't kick in. I've already spent so long suffering, and all I've ever wanted was peace. It would be perfectly fitting to spent the last few minutes of my life in panic, fear, and regret. :mmm:

I understand you. I am very scared myself. I just hope we find peace. I am not finding enough courage, this is so difficult.
