I don't have SN but I'm considering getting it. There is a chance that the custom might seize it but let say I successfully get it. But I don't know if I will get the medications that are advised to be taken with it. So if I go with SN there is a chance that I might drink it alone. I've two questions for you guys. Which one do you prefer between:

- SN without medication vs full suspension?

- SN with medication vs full suspension?

SN (for me) without any doubt. You don't need anything except water and SN, all the rest is optional.

For me all the prep and needed medications make SN seem overly complex. I prefer full suspension. Once I am hanging there by my neck fully suspended, there is no way out.

I wouldn't say the meds are optional because the ones that failed, on the sn success and failure thread, were the ones that didn't have access to Meto.

SN without medications is my way to go, but partial/full suspension is not so bad for me either. i accept any reliable method

Why you prefer SN without medications?

i don't have a suitable rope for partial/full. can't get SN medications. i think if i had rope, then partial would be my method.
also, unfortunately [!], i don't live alone.

the consequences of a failed SN attempt much less serious than the consequences of a failed hanging attempt

dont overcomplicate things, ppl hang themselves with shoe lances, scarfs, telephone cords ,belts, shirts etc.. people in prison hang themselves with sheets . if a person really want to ctb he will find a way

Yeah but overcoming SI has been a huge problem for me every time I try to do full suspension. The thought of my whole body being supported by my neck really scares me. I know I will lose consciousness quickly if I do it right but I'm still scared of hanging just like some ppl are really scared of height. I even once tried to cut my carotid artery using a razor blade because I was disgusted by hanging. I can do it again but there is a good chance that I might fail again and thrown to a psych ward. Finding a good jumping spot is also very difficult here.

People here talk about SN a lot and I thought I should also try to leave using it. But yeah its a complicated method. I've also my doubt with it. Let's hope I will get the courage to do full suspension because its the only reliable option I got at the moment.

I think @LetzteAusfahrt used no medications when he ctb (anyone correct me if I'm wrong). But yeah you could be right on the success rate being less when medications aren't used.
