I am a bit confused as to the toxicity of SN as I found this on Wikipedia: "Sodium nitrite is weakly toxic. The LD50 in rats is 180 mg/kg and its human LDLo is 71 mg/kg, meaning a 65 kg person would likely have to consume at least 4.6 g to result in death.[24] To prevent toxicity, sodium nitrite (blended with salt) sold as a food additive is dyed bright pink to avoid mistaking it for plain salt or sugar." I was planning to take 20 mg as advised on this website...

The pink stuff isn't the right stuff to ctb. The stuff that is 99%+ pure is what works to ctb.

You got info wrong somehow, the usual recommendation of 20-25 gramms dissolved in 50ml of water.

No worries: the method consists in taking 20 to 25 grams into a big glass of water and it is highly soluble.
