I had always heard that passing away from SN was peaceful. But, last time someone posted the thread linked below in which he posted as he was going through the steps of CTB by SN. He said it tasted like seawater and the effects where almost immediate. What's concerning is that he reported that it felt like sh*t and that he was sweating, had a hard time breathing, and his insides were burning. Is this experience typical? I wonder how long these feelings lasted before he passed away. Based on the thread, he was successful. I pray his soul is at peace.

I think there will be at least a few minutes of agony. I hope the sedatives lessen the effect. But I don't think it's completely painless. (That's just my impression!)

PPH has it estimated for 12 minutes to reach unconsciousness so if you can make it through that and then don't get found, it's a home run

Also Oxazepam could help or something that will knock you out

I think it varies somewhat from person to person, but I've never thought of it as a peaceful way to go. People who have watched videos of people dying from it tend to say sn scares them. If you want, you can watch said videos on that watch people die website, but I haven't watched myself, it's just too creepy for me.

I just saw it in a news that someone murdered a few people by slipping SN in their cold drinks. The initial police investigation ruled out cardiac arrest but after suspicion arose that the three who died were acquaintances, they delved further. Only after they apprehended the person responsible who turned out to be a neighbor were they able to find out about the SN from him.

Benzos are for sedation and reducing anxiety. Anti-emetics stop the vomiting. At least that's what I've understood from the PPH.

As a survivor of a SN attempt back in May I can confirm it is relatively peaceful. There wasn't any pain. Once I had ingested it, time went fast, and before I knew it, I was unconscious.
