Help SN strip test results

My mind's a bit all over the place. Can someone explain my SN strip test results?
For context:
Cup 1: 2.5g SN in 500ml water
Cup 2: 1ml from cup 1
Strip 1: Cup 1
Strip 2: Cup 2
My brain: not functioning properly.

It looks like you have about 10 mg/L of nitrite which is what you want. That means you have high purity SN.

Okay. I'm just a bit confused because of the chlorine segment. It's purple on strip 1 and clear on strip 2.

Hmm did you use distilled water or tap water? Sometimes tap water has a small amount of chlorine in it.

Hello can someone help me with reading this test, are my nitrates upper is high
1 nitrates
2 nitrite
