Hello everyone I'm new here but wanted to ask ….. I thought there was some big crack down on Amazon.com selling SN because they were being sued because of it? It's still available on the site so I ordered it and just received it. The expiry isn't until Sept/2025. I don't see where it says on the package the strength or purity of it …… but the ingredients list only says Sodium Nitrate. Could this be a weaker product possibly?
Here's the link below:

SN usually refers to sodium nitrite; it is way harder to ctb by sodium nitrate, more painful and more likely to cause a simple poisoning.

Yes it says NitrAte both on the front of the package, as well as on the ingredients list on the back.
Nitrate would just make you sick. It wouldn't kill you.
Nitrite is the right one.

Update if anyone's interested - I did in fact order the proper SN from the internet - the order went thru successfully but then a few days later they sent me an email that they must refund because they are not allowed to ship it to my country 😢
