SN scam (?)

I recently found a thread (https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/do-you-keep-changing-your-methods-and-why.30203/) where a member here said they were scammed with SN, saying it was labeled as 99,5% NaNO2 but didn't contain measurable NaNO2 . This is very worrying as this is the E site where everibody in Europe buys from. This makes me very worried as I bought one bottle from the seller. What do you suggest I do?

The best is to test it with your blood or buy a kit to measure nitrites for aquariums.

Plenty of people have used the eastern europe supplier from the auction site.
There's nothing wrong with that item....

That one she was referring to on that other thread was a different seller, that no longer lists.
So no need to worry folks...

There was also *another* UK seller, who *was* legit, but I haven't seen them list for a while.....

Actually, looks like they're back selling the same product....

That product has also been verified legit, although always good to re-test to be sure of course....

oh well now these are some good news~.

In another note, to european buyers living in schengen space reading this thread, please, if you consider buying from UK, make sure NaNo2 isn't a notregulated susbtance in your country. Because if it is, say byebye to your product cause customs will take good care of it. There are other safe providers in schengen space so be cautious.

The Poland seller's product may be a bit better though, since I think it's better sealed and therefore might last longer....

Anyone who plans to test sodium nitrite with a test kit that tests pure nitrite (without sodium), don't forget that you're measuring nitrite content and not sodium nitrite. Sodium nitrite (NaNO2) contains only about 66% nitrite by weight.

What metrics did you use to judge that the comapany is reputable? It there a way for us to exchange SN source info covertly? This topic makes me very paranoid.

It is already mentioned above what supplier is best if you are from Europe. You can easily find it on E uk. I am also paranoid about everything.

My first SN I got has SN on label, but according to CAS number that's Hydrochloric Acid and it has some ingredients added. Now I got another one, looks good so far.
