Figured I'd make threads so that we can get all the information that we've gathered into one spot instead of it getting lost and scattered everywhere. Here's one random study I found from a few days ago to start the thread off.
I'm just going to be adding tons of random articles. This is for anything involving sodium nitrite studies, articles, etc.
Sodium nitrite protects against kidney injury induced by brain death and improves post-transplant function
Effect of nitrite on neural activity of a healthy brain
Don't worry I'm getting to the articles that we have of brain damage give me a second.
EVIDENCE ON DEVELOPMENTAL AND REPRODUCTIVE TOXICITY OF SODIUM NITRITE
Inorganic Nitrite as a Potential Therapy or Biomarker for Concussion
There aren't many studies involving people who have taken as much as we plan to or have but.

If you would like to share the articles that you have as well that would be appreciated thank you.

Sodium nitrite: the "cure" for nitric oxide insufficiency - PubMed
This process of "curing" food is a long practice that dates back thousands of years long before refrigeration or food safety regulations. Today food safety and mass manufacturing are dependent upon safe and effective means to cure and preserve foods including meats. Nitrite remains the most...

Fatal Methaemoglobinaemia Due To Intentional Sodium Nitrite Poisoning - PubMed
We report a case of fatal methaemoglobinaema resulting from sodium nitrite poisoning. A 28 year old woman arrested in the emergency department following collapse. During resuscitation a venous blood gas revealed a methaemoglobin percentage of 81%. Following treatment with methylene blue, sodium...

Early intravenous infusion of sodium nitrite protects brain against in vivo ischemia-reperfusion injury - PubMed
Nitrite exerted profound neuroprotective effects with antioxidant properties in the ischemic brains. These results suggest that nitrite, as a biological storage reserve of NO, may be a novel therapeutic agent in the setting of acute stroke.

Effect of nitrite on the electroencephalographic activity in the healthy brain
Nitrite is a major intravascular store for nitric oxide. The conversion of nitrite to the active nitric oxide occurs mainly under hypoxic conditions t…

Beneficial Effect of Sodium Nitrite on EEG Ischaemic Markers in Patients with Subarachnoid Haemorrhage - Translational Stroke Research
Subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) is associated with long-term disability, serious reduction in quality of life and significant mortality. Early brain injury (EBI) refers to the pathological changes in cerebral metabolism and blood flow that happen in the first few days after ictus and may lead on...

Severe Methemoglobinemia due to Sodium Nitrite Poisoning
Case. We report a case of severe methemoglobinemia due to sodium nitrite poisoning. A 28-year-old man was brought to our emergency department because of transient loss of consciousness and cyanosis. He was immediately intubated and ventilated with 100% oxygen. A blood test revealed a...

EVIDENCE ON DEVELOPMENTAL AND REPRODUCTIVE TOXICITY OF SODIUM NITRITE
Successful Liver Transplantation After Neurologically Determined Death Donation Following Sodium Nitrite Poisoning
Sodium nitrite poisoning has been reported with increasing frequency since 2017 and popularized on social media as an effective means to commit suicide. Though accidental, non-intentional consumption has been reported, it is uncommon. Sodium nitrite is a colorless, odorless, yellowish-white...
